Principle:
Ultrasonic waves in the form of impulses are distributed in all objects of continuous-type material and interact with indications and boundaries of the object. The reflected waves are received by the echo sensor, which on the screen of the defectoscope is shown as an indication.
Field of application:
The method is used to detect internal indications in controlled objects and facilities. In addition, the method can measure wall thickness of continuous-medium material articles.
